Antequera is located in the heart of Andalusia, one hour from two international airports (Granada and Seville) and only half an hour from Malagasy airport. A very beautiful course, which is worth going to.
The golf course is located on the slopes of Gandia mountain, at an altitude of 650 m above sea level, surrounded by the nature reserve of El Torcal, the vast town of Antequera and its rich farms and olive groves. The clean, clear air, the unique fauna of the neighborhood, and the incredibly beautiful views are, in addition to the golf, what this place generously offers.
If you want to sleep over after the golf, there is Antequera Golf Hotel, four-star, just a drive from the course, with affordable prices. The slicing medium golfer shall not use the driver. Buggy is recommend. The short holes are spectacular with its overall height differences - tee to green. The par fives are not long, all around 450m, but narrow fairways make them difficult to reach in 2 strokes.
A difficult and technical course, physically demanding - very up and down. Hole 15, par 4, green leaning away from the player, with 'out' on the other side: if you hit green on 2 strokes, the ball rolls out behind - not fair! My advice to you when you go to Antequera Golf, is: bring balls enough and prepare for a natural experience beyond the usual.
