Golf Course Atalaya Golf Old Course - 18 holes

Atalaya's most popular course the old, which, in contrast to the new, is a park course. There is no need for a buggy for the healthy golfer. Wide fairways fairways run for a nice score, but there are water hazards and many trees that can stopp a good score. No holes are outstanding, but the course is just beautiful and well-maintained and a lot of work is being spent on improvements every year. The last major improvement is the first hole, which now is 10 tee and green area has got a proper face lift. The club has put 10:th bar bar under tee 10 and with a view over the 9th green. Very nice and practical, coffee before start, beer and sandwich at the 9th and if you don´t want to visit the restaurant after the round you can sit here and summarize today's round. The restaurant has nice food and good beer!

Course character, Parkland.

Course nature, Flat, Long, Wide.

Golf Course Atalaya Golf New Course - 18 holes

Atalaya Golf has two courses, the Old and the New. The new is strangely not as popular as the old one, but we find an underestimated course. You start and end your round in a park environment, but in between the holes climb into the mountains, some with high altitude differences between tee and green. Hole 7 is a par 4 on a fancy 230m down hill shot. Here many can reach almost all the way to the green with a nice shot. A really good birdie hole. Hole 12 is not the hardest, but with a big difference in height and 206m to the flag, you have to be careful to slice to the right because then you are really out of trouble if you find the ball. Most often you have a package offer with a buggy on the new course, so don´t hesitate, it's nice to play and Atalaya has always kept a good standard and improved the course all the time. Relatively easy to walk even though it climbs into the mountains with amazing views.

Course character, Mountain.

Course nature, Easy, Flat, Hilly, Short.
